Privacy policy

This website is a pure reference guide. There are no user accounts, no newsletter and no comment function. Below we explain which data is processed nevertheless.

Server log files

Every page request is logged automatically by the hosting provider (IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the site. Logs are usually deleted after 14 days at the latest.

Cookies

We use a single technically necessary cookie, ac_lang, which stores your language choice (German or English) for one year. A session cookie is additionally used when logging into the admin area. Legal basis: § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. No tracking cookies are used.

Audience measurement with besucherspiegel.de

To count page views and time on page we run our own measurement via besucherspiegel.de. When a page loads, a small image (counting pixel) containing the requested address is fetched; when you leave the page the time spent in seconds is transmitted as well. This processes the page address, the time of access and the technically unavoidable IP address. No cookies are set and no cross-device profiles are created. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Amazon affiliate programme

If advertising is switched on, airport pages contain material from the Amazon affiliate programme. As a participant we earn from qualifying purchases. Delivering these ads transmits data (including your IP address) to Amazon, possibly to the USA. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR or your consent where required. No other services

We use no Google services, no external map services, no web fonts from third-party servers and no third-party analytics. All maps are computed on our own server from public-domain geodata.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the competent authority is the data protection commissioner of Brandenburg, Germany.
